2017 Ram 1500 ANC

Trying to locate my ANC Module but not having any luck. Tried to find a bypass harness for a 2017 ram 1500 I can't seem to find it. My issue I'm having is I hooked up a LOC to the stereo for two 12s and the ANC causes them to cut out and not hit hard. Then when the truck is completely off ANC is causing a sound loop that makes my subwoofers hit nonstop until I unlock it and lock it then it does after about 30 sec. I have to unplug the power to it i have not seen any discussion on 2017 ANC

I don't think the Gen4 trucks have ANC, let's see if @SitKneelBend or @Mpgrimm2 chimes in.

Not to my knowledge. I believe that started with 5th Gen Trucks.

Google can sometimes jump to conclusions in it's AI answers when it's misinterpreted the context. It sounds to me like maybe the input source you are using has some kind of signal on it that's not just audio? Are you sure it's wired properly?

Was it google AI that indicated there is ANC on your truck?
google isn't the best when it comes to accuracy or truth.

In fact, a study I completed a couple of years ago, of a more political nature, clearly demonstrated that google employed obfuscation to mislead the results, and to manipulate the reader in a preferred direction.

They're a big business with other priorities before presenting the facts.

I've spent a small amount of time searching my 4th gen for ANC, without any luck.
I will search soft copy of the service manual and post results, should I find anything definitive.

Thank you! And I'm about to go through the wiring today and see what's up with it. It's got a aftermarket Parrot bluetooth thing In there that's hooked to the stereo wires. So I'm thinking that has something to do with the noise. It wasn't put in correctly with a harness yea it's a mess. Just bought the truck last month

I word searched the 2021 Gen 4 owner's manual and received no results using 'Automatic Noise'.

I found a great video on my PC that discusses many aspects of the ANC system, including that there should be 4-6 additional microphones in the cab. My '21 Warlock only has 2 Bluetooth mics in the front.

The base model radios have 4 mics, 2 extra in front, besides the mics for Bluetooth connections, and 2 more in the rear. The premium audio systems have 6 mics.

I believe the mics are embedded in the headliner and shouldn't be too difficult to find.

You might search for microphones to help determine if you have ANC in your truck.

At about 4:58, Paul refers to HD and Gen 5 1500 trucks and then discusses the mics.

You should watch the entire 9-minute video to see if he ever mentions Gen 4 trucks.

I listened while multitasking and didn't hear any mention of Gen 4 trucks.

As far as I know, no ANC on 4th Gens/classic.
