Cummins ECM Original Manufacturer: Any ideas?

Hi Ram People,

I've come to the conclusion that my various error codes are due to my ECM being faulty.
I need to replace it with a new one.

Does anyone know who the original manufacturer is of the engine ECM on my '03 3500 Cummins diesel 6-speed High Output?
I've been told it would be considerably cheaper to purchase an ECM directly from them instead of my local Dodge dealer.

Can anyone help me with finding out who they are and how to contact / purchase an ECM from them or their official retailers?

There are a LOT of refurbished ECM's with warranty available online. To determine the correct part number for yours, get it from the dealer by VIN and they can give you the part number.

Then, search online for the ECM.

I have no idea who make the original equipment for that year truck.
