Curious, Dealer Stickier Lied, anything I can do?

I love my truck and will not give it up so may be screwed on that ground alone.

I thought due to the stickier saying I had an 8 speed but when I run the vin check on Mopar it comes up as 6 speed. Kinda curious what exactly I can do against the dealer. I know probably nothing, but thought I'd ask.

It's not as if the dealer can swap a 8 speed into your truck and probably trying to get a specific amount for the lower value the 6 vs 8 speed would have would waste more time then it's worth. Do you have anything from dealer saying it has the 8 speed?

Basically you're screwed.

I was going to say that same thing...unless I'm mistaken, column shifter = 6psd, rotary knob = 8spd.

Column, I wouldnt know the difference of 6 vs 8 anyway (first truck) by driving it. The dealer window stickier states the 8 speed. Can get a pic when I go home. I figured nothing I can do, just thought I ask.

I probably misunderstood, I have the floor shifter, sorry guys. 2013 Sport.
Had 37k and got it for 26,000, 5 year @ 1.49%. Now I might know why the price was so low lol.

have you verified the VIN on the sticker matches the VIN on the truck?

If I'm not mistaken wasent the only 8spd in 2013 mated to the 3.6l? I don't believe the 8spd was mated to the hemi in 2013 also that truck is 5 years old is the window sticker says 8speed it's way past ram doing anything about it.

make sure the sticker did not show the 6spd as some sort of optional equipment on the far right....I doubt it but you never know.

The 8-speed was offered with the HEMI in 2013. So your shifter is in the center console, right?

since he bought it used it was probably a dealer generated window sticker - not the "original" window sticker

which doesn't necessarily mean they flat out lied. The person making the sticker might have not know any better.
