So I have a ‘20 limited with stock 22’s on Mickey Thompson 285/45/22 tires. I’m looking at the 4play 4P83 which are 22x10. I was given a quote for the wheels and new tires that are 285/55/22 and was told I need a leveling kit. My question is, with the different wheel size, is that the best option to go with? Losing off road 2,1 and aero seems a bit steep since it’s an air ride. Would a 285/45/22 still fit on the 22x10 without needing to level it?

I'd choose a different set of wheels or just say with your stock tire size. The 45 or 55 is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width. The difference between the two really should be negligible.
