I cant wait either...

For all you wood workers (no pun)...what is the easiest way to cut shapes out of wood? All I have is a jig saw... if I'm careful will that work?

With a jig saw I always make sure to cut to the outside of your line, then you can sand it down to your line. Prolly not the best day but its always worked for me. Thats the good thing about MDF like George said is its easy to sand.

Yep, I do like Cody. A jigsaw works great! It's like a hot knife through butter on mdf.

Update...and yes, it looks kinda crude right now for the faceplate area. Just a reminder, that will all be cover in tinted Plexiglas...the wood face plates are just for structure.

But I did get the gps face plate fitted and the ram faceplate fitted. All I have to do now is order my gps, cut out the RAM, run my wires, mount switches and gps, wrap a few more things in carpet, and mount plexi glass.

Looking good man...can't wait to see it done. I think I'm gonna put a console in front of my console.

Ok... I need some opinions.

The area I have circled below, that is were I was going to put my light up "RAM"... well I have decided against that. The way I'm going to do my face plate its not going to work and look good at the same time.

So... what should go there?

I have an external speaker that I need to put somewere... should I put it there?

I need some idea bc I have none.

Thanks

Two things,

Sig is really funny.

And can't go wrong with the mini bar! (or the strobe controller like I said on DT)
