So i was thinking of saving up my pennys and getting a truly custom exhaust, i want to run a true dual exhaust along the frame between the body sides so its completely out if the way and then run the tips through the side of my bed right behind the cab, with dual magnaflow 14" into a 4 inch tip kinda like the way racecars have them. What yall think?

I think you'll want the added scavenging of an x-pipe or at the very least an H pipe. IMO, TRUE duals (as in not connected) sound like (2) Honda Civics sitting next to each other. ;)

Go big, get the pipemax exhaust design software (45$), get a set of pacesetter (cheap) headers, cut them up/adapt/reweld to get the primary and collector length/diameter correct as per pipemax suggestions. Pipemax will also tell you where to put your x or h pipe and your mufflers. That way you will not only have a awesome looking/sounding but also a top performing exhaust.

Got a set of headers on the way to Belgium and will be doing just this soon, build thread will follow!

Pipemax input data for my stroker setup:
