I have a 96 1500 with 4x4. I'm working on redoing the interior and getting rid of the bench seat. Ideally I'm looking to create a custom center console that goes from between the seats up to the dash.
Couple questions I have:
Has anyone done a custom center console? I did some searching and haven't really come across what I'm envisioning which is similar to later models or the H1 style.
Next, if anyone has ideas to deal with the 4x4 shifter? Currently the transfer case is locked so I can determine the throw accurately. Could I install a short shifter, has anyone done this?
