Well you'd think at my age is be more careful, guess it didn't have anything to with two women nagging at me while driving. Lol.

Long story short , pulled into father in-law drive but made a bad decision and went over his flood rain control ditch. Luckily was slow speed so only smacked the bottom of the front chrome bumper into the dirt resulting in some light scuffs but the passenger side chrome bumper area is pushed up now and also a slight kink in the center part where the support bar pushed rhe chrome bumper out.

I thought perhaps I might be able to loosen the bumper and drop the right side a little, those 6 18mm bolts that are on the bumper support? But it appears the bumper is bent then it's game over.

So my question is shall I loosen the 6 18mm ? 3 on either side and see if I can adjust , failing that take off the color coded trim above the chrome bumper and see if I can push down on the bumper a little or go after market ?

Knowing my luck I'll end up in a wreck after all this. Lol.

Will post pics later.

Honestly, this just sounds like the perfect :happy107: excuse to go after market IMO

Mmm my deductible is $250 but most probably pay for the claim in the long run? All being equal you might have a good point. Meaning even if my premium goes up by $200 I'm still ahead ?

Haha. There is an Nfab on Craig's list near me for $600 at the moment. Any recommendations?
Side note, if only I had a level kit then I would not be having this chat.

YEah man, those bumpers now are so weak and thin....they bend way too easy.

You can get a replacement at LMC Truck for probably less than $300.
