I'm running the Rexxing cam off Amazon. Pretty clear picture at a decent price. So far I've caught the dealer service tech bumping into something while it was in the shop and lying about the time it takes to do work. I think it is worth it.

Fortunately got refunded for the fake work time. Didn't make a deal of the minor bump as no damage was done. Tapped the grill guard.

mine was useful when i lived/worked in the city.now that i'm in a very rural area it's not very useful at all.if i slam a deer it's going to be pretty obvious to the ins. company what i hit.rush hour around here is a vehicle or 3 every 5 mins.

I run the Blackvue HD, has the front and a separate rear camera.. has too many features to list here...

Some things I like:
records events even when parked like at a hotel.
when in an accident, you can bring it up on your phone to show the Police there on the spot.
easily removable
wired it to a cigarette lighter receptacle and mounted it under the dash so I can remove power anytime, like for long term storage.

To anyone else reading, yes. The answer is yes. Yes get one. Yes they are worth it. Look for something you can wire in so that it runs when the vehicle is off. Most new/newer ones are plenty clear for your needs. People are crazy, people lie, sh*t happens. Hopefully it will just end being a waste in the end but if you need it you will be glad you have it.

Plus you can share clips of what stupid people do

Get one.
