Dash compatibility?

I have a 97 1500 with a cracked dash. Given how fun it appears to remove/swap, I want to 100% sure I know what will fit. What years will fit?

Pretty sure any 2nd gen will fit, but don't take my word for it since I did my research over 10 years ago. Check some Mopar parts sites and compare parts numbers from different years. You could try LMCTruck's website, too, by plugging in different years.

94-97. They changed the style in 98-01. LMC will be your best bet for a legit dash top. You won’t find the “core”, or lower dash new anywhere.

Coverlay matched my dash color, had good instructions and for $232 delivered. Looks good.

Just so you know, that’s just a bandaid. It’s a cap, not the legit dash top. It goes on top of your busted dash. It can still fall apart and pieces can fall in behind the rear of the dash causing irritating as all hell rattles you may never get to.

Your right, I got the truck with loose pieces and tape everywhere. I left just enough dash to glue the cover on. Pieces left I epoxied, screwed and Gorilla taped. The dash cover is siliconed on, not impossible to take off but wouldn't want to. May come back to bite me, we'll see.
