Hey guys, im ready to pull the trigger on a front level for my 2wd... I have read a ton pages about my options, but haven't been able to find much on the daystar 1.5" budget boost. Using daystar's website this is my only option through them, although I other searches provide different answers....

I am looking for any information about this kit specifically. About the only thing I have read is that this kit does not lift the full 1.5" ha and then the next post showed pictures of it doing just that (you know ho that works)..... So I am asking you guys if you have any information.

Now like I said this is for a 2wd with the 4.7l, and I don't see myself running anything bigger than 33's. I love the lok of fully leveled trucks, but if I can save a couple bucks with this kit which is less than $40, and maintain as close to the stock geometry as possible, it may be worth the slightly steeper rake then persay a 2-2.5" level......

Any info woudl be appreciated...

I am not familiar with the 2 wheeldrive kits, or what you end results maybe. However I installed the daystar 2.5 front and .75 rear on my 09 4x4. Installation was straight forward and the instructions supplied were adequate.
Had the set up for 2 years with no issues. I would recommend their products.

Not sure how you couldn't get 1.5"s if the spacer is 1.5"s thick.

If your interested I'll sell you mine. It's brand new in the box for 35 and I'll ship never installed. I bought a 4wd. One thing to consider, unless you can do it yourself it cost A LOT to get it installed because coil springs have to be removed. Cheapest i found without alignment was 275 bucks!!! Everywhere else wanted 350 to even 480!! They quote it as removing the coil springs which they have to do.

Just because I know how frustrating it is to find answers sometimes, I suggest the Readylift kit. Look it up SST lift/leveling kit for 2wd. It is 499 bucks but if your gonna pay close to 500 to have a 1.5" spacer installed from Daystar, this kit offers a 2.25" spacer, shock extensions, bump stops, and a 1.5" rear spacer. Look up "readylift" in lifted forum and search. You will find pictures. They make some cheaper kits by truxxx and maybe Rough Country but Readylift is only one that comes with shock extensions and bumpstops. Plus the rear spacer bolts in place which I like, others dont.

If you're only going to run a 33" tire, you con't need a lift at all. The stock tires are 33".

Thanks for the offer I may take you up on it... I have access to everything I would need to do the install myself, and have helped others do it. I know the effort involved. And an allignment will be needed with any kit, so that cost is assumed....

I know that, but I do want some sort of level. I was debating the front vs rear level at first, but with interest in getting some A/T tires (still nothing big) I think the front level will be more appropriote..

theres a stock spacer thats around .5" thick that your supposed to remove. not sure if its this way on all their spacer but I know when my brother installed his 1.5" on his f150 I believe it only gave 1" of lift
