Dealer dinged my Truck

I dropped of my truck for a water leak at the dealer, the following day i was advised that the truck was ready. When the porter brings up the truck for me to take delivery I notice someone dinged my bed side. I notify the service adviser of the ding and he proceeds to take pictures and tells me he needs to make the manager aware when he arrives the following morning. So now I am waiting to hear back from them this morning and see what they have to say. I declined to take the truck and advised them i would not pick it up until the ding was repaired.

I know PDR guys remove dents, but can they also remove dings like the one on my bed side in the picture below?

That is good to hear, i have never really seen what the PDR techs are capable of.

They are pretty amazing. Even if they can't get to the back side they have a glue and pull pins what won't damage your paint so they can pop out the dents.

Pdr should take care of that for 100 bucks or less. Just had it done on my Subaru right on a body line in a ****** spot to get to and it looks almost new.

I had one on the body line of the bed when it was delivered. PDR guy took off the taillight and was able to reach the dent from the inside with a long metal pole. It took him about 15 minutes but he got it out and you can't find it now. They should be able to get your's repaired no problem since it's not on a body line.

Agree. Had a hard to get to ding when I got my truck which they paid for to fix it.

I have a decent amount of metal working back ground from work and it is easy to over stretch the thin flimsy sheet metal on these trucks for the cost just leave it to the PDR guys. It's a fine art that they had mastered.

Dealer did the same thing to my truck on my bumper. I made them repaint it

My bet says they deny any dings and play stupid. Thats what dealers do best. Good luck though.

Just took delivery of the truck this evening and I am pleased with the result i cannot tell where the dent was, the PDR guy did his thing.

Yeah, I had a few repairs done by a PRD guy. It's awesome how beautifully they can cure your heartache.
