debating door chrome

Ive seen many threads where guys debadge the small emblems and such, but is it possible to take off the long, chrome door panels on the 2013 Dodge? My truck came with that trim package and I would rather have them removed to easily wax the truck.

Yes, it's just held on with some double sided tape

Yea no problem, I'm glad my truck didn't come with it. I'm not a big chrome guy. I like the bumpers and handles being chrome for stock, adds a little bit of accent. IMO your truck will look 10x better with it off

Well I got one side done so far as well as the ram and 1500 decals. Going to just go ahead and take the 4x4 and lone star package off as well.

Everything came off easy as pie, but the residual tape was Hell to remove with the degreasers a goo gone. Gonna wash, polish and wax this evening.

IMO take the black vinyl off that are on the door pillars. Think it would look better.

Looks better already without the huge lettering thrown all over the side. Thanks SIhemi for the info on the vinyl; I will start working on that as well.
