Jumped the F150 ship and came back home to MOPAR after many years. Not faulting the F150 and did not leave under bad terms just liked the looks of the 26 Laramie in Granite Metallic over the looks of a new F150. Hopefully this 26 RAM will be as reliable as the past F150's have been.
Truck is a 3.0 SO Level 1 Laramie with, RAM floor liners, bed package, trailer brake controller 3.92 gearing. Not a fan of mono color blacked out vehicles.
Put on Splash Guards, Volt power steps, (again hip) and a run of the mill roll up tonneau cover. Will be installing Husky rear wheel liners, front rear dash camera along with bed side tool boxes from Vevor.
Not new to MOPAR. Grew up (learned to drive) with a F100 work truck and we drove Plymouth, Dodge and maybe even a few Newport's when times where good.
My period of growing up was chrome was good more chrome the better. We were lucky to afford a vehicle that had a chrome bumper when growing up. Dad drove the 51 F100 well into 70's and I lost track of it after getting married in 75. My first car was a 66 Fury III 2 door hardtop in Black with red interior in 71. Sold for a 71 Charger SE in 73 then bought the wife in 77 a new 77 Sport Fury, 79 the Magnum was bought new for the spouse and the 77 became my go to work car which was traded in on a 81 Omni Charger 2.2 in all Black. 81 Charger was traded in 84 for a 79 F150 (driven for 14Yrs) then several new F150's following since 1998 when the local Dodge dealer BLEW ME OFF.
In my MOPAR garage is my original owner 79 Magnum GT (L) 360 with a T bar roof (30Kmiles), 3rd owner 05 Magnum RT (58Kmiles) both put away until spring. Recently sold my 87 GLHS because of a left hip issue and not being able to use the clutch anymore. GLHS went to a good home. Present GLHS owner has 3 Shelby Chargers and now his crown jewel a GLHS. So not new to a MOPAR turbo engine.
