I am considering buying the Decked Drawer System for my 2016 Limited short bed with Ram Boxes. Has anyone done this? Pics? Experiences regarding loss of sidewall height and cargo room above the new deck? Does the new deck height cause significant balance issues on turns with larger items in the bed? Thanks

my buddy had one in his power wagon and it is nice but kills any head room with the topper. I wanted one but after seeing his I decided not to get one.

Many of the things that i carry, are just too large for the Decked Drawer System

The PVC pipe that i carry is capped off on both ends, i use it for measuring & lifting poles, but it would work great for fishing poles, etc
If i recall correctly, there are places to insert those PVC pipes in the Decked System

Traffic cones & fuel cans take up too much room to be used when you have the Decked System, if you have a bed cover

Very interested in the responses here. I’m looking at the same options for my 16 sport. I own my own electrical company and looking to outfit the truck better. Looking at aluminum tonneau and ladder rack or pelican overland system as well

I had one in my previous truck. Is it a great product? Yes. Does it live up to expectations? Absolutely. Do you lose a lot of bed space? Yes. You’d be okay with a topper, but if you have a tonneau there is very little space between the DECKED and tonneau. That was a deal killer with my RAM since we use it for travel/road trips. I think DECKED should make a single drawer system where 1/2 of the bed is still open. Best of both worlds. Anyway, JMO. Cheers.

Thanks. It does look like a great product, but with the Ramboxes the topper is really not an option. There is one topper that has mechanical lifts to raise it to get access to the ram boxes but it requires access to the bed floor to raise it to access the Ramboxes.
