Diablosport Intune question

I have this tuner and it works great for my truck. My question is this: my brother wants to borrow it for his Chevy Colorado for the weekend to see if he wants to buy one. If I load my stock tune back onto my truck will it then work in his Colorado?

yes, so long as diablo has a tune available for his truck. just did this exact thing with a co-worker

So he would have to update the tuner with his computer before loading it onto his truck? Then I would have to do the same when I get it back?

For future reference, the DCX version only works on Chrysler/Dodge/Ram.

ah, interesting, didnt know that. how are we supposed to know if it is the dcx version because i just updated mine and it loaded gm tunes and ford tunes?

Then it's not a DCX tuner. DCX tuner's only work on 2011+ up MOPARs

ah. good info to know. so the dcx only works for '11 and up mopars and is not backwards compatible, but can my non-dcx tuner work for '11-up mopars?

I'm not sure. I don't think it will that's why they came out with the DCX. The 2011 PCM's have that newer encryption. Rolling encryption or whatever..

Might be able to check and clear codes maybe data log but I doubt tune them.
