Differential Ratios

Hi, I have a 2006 Hemi rwd quad cab... I would like to change the oil but it seems like it matters on which differential you may have on the type of oil. My oringinal window sticker lists the 3.92 under the 26G package but further down the sheet it lists for an additional $1,170.00 a 5 spd with 3.55 diff. Also including for $285 the Anti-Spin Rear axle..... which do you believe that I have and will it require the friction modifier .

if the 392 is listed under the optional section, that's what you have. the 3.55 wouldn't trump a 3.55 on a build sheet (that I know of). If you do a lot of towing, I'd get a heavier oil to account for that, but otherise you'll need 2 quarts of diff fluid and the little thing of limited slip modifier.

Look in your glove box it should have a option sticker

Just use royal purple. Will work for whatever rear end you have.
