Of course with the after winter grime and such washed off the roads via rain finally washed the truck after a month. Obviously it always rains the day after a wash. Is it just me or is the rain just getting literally dirtier these days!?!? This is from sitting in the drive way right after a wash for a whole day LOL

About a month ago maybe it did it here really bad. They said that was caused by a dust storm out west. Happened again this morning but not nearly as bad. Amazing how far dust can travel in the atmosphere

The last time it was mixed in the ran, the truck looked brown with dots where the rain hit.

The rain is getting worse. I see it not only on my own vehicles, but my customers vehicles. If it gets really dirty and you have a good foam cannon get some Carpro lift and mix that together first. Spray it on the vehicle and let it sit until it’s almost all fallen off and then rinse it off. It will remove a ton of the crap that is on the paint. Just make sure the paint is cool and that you don’t let it dry. I have two cannons so I will mix one with lift and the other with my pink soap. It will also clean out clogged up coating.

I have same problem in NC. Glad my BLACK truck gone and a new WHITE one! No swirls, whorls or curls visible. Yellow pollen just makes it………off white lol
I THINK the pollen is from the pines and other coniferous trees

i was blaming pollen. I can wash mine every day and it still has a yellow dust on it later
Put a good ceramic coating on it. Buy yourself a good compressor with a tornador. Blow the pollen off. It wont stick to a good ceramic. Waterless wash it in between those really nasty rains. If people understood the technology a little better they would never own anything again with out it being on there lol.

I KNOW that! I just pretend to myself all is good as they don’t show like that black one did! Why this particular manufacturer has such bad paint is beyond me! Every other make I see seems better( but I know they aren’t really!)
GM does tend to have better quality of the big 3. I would rate them first, Ford paint sucks. Interior quality is ok. It’s about on par with Dodge. Ford has the best engines IMO. Dodges bodies tend to hold up better than Ford and GM. No matter how you slice it run anything through a car wash and this is what happens. 2019 GMC I did last weekend.

Haven't seen U in a while. Hope all is well with you and family. DFW area got waxed yesterday with storms.

I was hoping for some rain. We got like 1/10" here. Rain was further south like Temple and South. Oh well.

ADDED: @Treburkulosis : as U know, we got that Sahara dust that keeps blowing through and also all the dirt/pollen from trees that rain down from the "rain".

I think we got 2-3 inches although it felt like more. I got soaked a few times running in and out of places. They say we are getting more tomorrow. We will see. You can have our rain lol. Business has been busy and now that the wifes job and I are working closely together I even more busier than before. Last week I didn’t get online at all. The only reason I am on now is I have two sick kids. That Sahara dust is ridiculous. I hope you are doing good as well Boird!

There must be a lot of dust and pollen in the air here. A light rain last week deposited it all on my truck, there was definitely a yellow tint to it. I washed it and a day later it was yellow again.
