Anyone else disappointed in the December incentives? I have a 2021 Laramie ordered and it is set to arrive this week. I had been counting on getting at least as good incentives as the last 2 months, but it’s almost nothing. Maybe I’ll let it sit on the lot.

I’m seeing no incentives not even 0% interest .... what gives? I at least thought December would be the same as the last two months.

Yeah. I was shocked to see that they pretty much dropped everything on the 21’s. No zero percent is a pretty close to a deal breaker for me. I was counting on that.

I am sure I just saw a commercial on TV that said RAM 1500 ~8000 below MSRP. But I was not paying that much attention.

The only reason for the factory or the dealer to incentivize is when there is a need to boost sales. Apparently that need does not exist at this time. I have to admit, I wasn't surprised when I took deliver on my 21 on September 15 that they weren't offering anything at that time (although, I did get 0%), I am kind of surprised their isn't much now in the midst of the year end/holiday season. I guess we are buying in spite of no incentives, so why give money away?

Ya re thinking ...just looked over at Ford F-150 and non there either. If there are no incentives I may have to test drive the F150 hybrid ...one of my buddies has one and he can’t stop raving about it. This incentive development has put me back in research mode. Ugg

@BNeal I agree with you ...but the last two months was only $500 and 0% to not even offer 0% at the end of the year is disappointing. Also I think the prices went up about 2K as I have a build from a few days ago and it was 69K and now the same build is 71K

So, the car I was driving prior to buying my Ram, was a 2018 BMW 530e (plug-in hybrid). I thought I would never drive a hybrid, but I have to confess, after test driving it, I was sold. The car uses the gas engine plus the e-drive, resulting in unbelievable torque. And if I could keep my foot out of it, I got incredible gas mileage. So, for those out there beating up on the hybrid thing, drive one before judging, and then if you still don't like it, at least you have an informed opinion.

I got my ordered 2021 Ram last Monday. The rebates were $1500 for a National and Southeast something or other and $500 for financing.
I only financed a minimal amount for the $500 rebate and will pay it off in the first payment. I admit I am fortunate to be in a position to buy outright because we save up for big purchases and we went into retirement debt free. Very lucky indeed.

Now back on topic, BNeal is right, no reason for incentives when sales are up and the incentives (like employee pricing) are only for 2020 models. I would have gotten one of those deals but I really wanted some of the 2021 options, mainly HUD and Trailer Backup System ( I need all the help I can get for our small boat, like backing it down our 140 foot driveway).

If you need a great deal on a 2021 then you have to wait till next fall but getting exactly what you want is difficult. That was the other reason, I checked over 200 dealers before ordering local because I did not find what I wanted.

I am noticing something ... when I went there a few hours ago none of the models had incentives .. Now I am seeing some do. Maybe they are updating the site .. one can only hope.

Typically you won’t see the incentives fully updated until the third business day of the month. And then they sometime do a mid-month “incentivizing” depending upon sales for particular models. This update to the website occurs typically by the 17th of the month although dealers have it in the afternoon of the 15th.

I see that now. Maybe I jumped the gun. Laramie showing $750 and 0% now. Huge discount on limited. Probably makes them cheaper than Laramie. I guess I’ll see what it is when the truck delivers.

I ordered a 2021 RAM 3500 Megacab SRW Limited back in September. I don't recall any incentives. Got word that the truck has been manufactured and is being shipped. Have not seen any on the lot. Doubt there is need for incentives given the demand.
