What are some easy to do performance mods or just basic bolt on aftermarket accessories for performance?? Looking to start working on the motor now that I’m almost done with the audio! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Depends on how deep your pockets are, the cheapest/easiest is cai, headers, exhaust, tune. That will get you a few more pony’s out of it.

intake, exhaust, programmer, custom tune is where I'd start.

Start with a tuner, that will give you the biggest bang for your buck and most of the other mods will be incorporated into either a stock or custom tune. Good luck on your build!

For TRUE diy performance gains:
Custom tune
Longtubes, y pipe & muffler
Intake
Clutch fan delete & 180* t-stat

Those are a great start.

For more throttle response ONLY, pedal commander

Definitely looking for better throttle response and for sure some more pony’s. I’m going to be ordering the s&b cold air intake soon. And probably after that get a tuner. I know just with those 2 items it’ll be easily $700

2011 Dodge Ram 1500. Crew cab and I’m not sure what transmission. Just the basic one to my knowledge. It’s a Laramie if that changes anything

What’s a good tuner these days?? I’ve heard of diablo being a really good one! I guess what is the best tuner for a Dodge Ram??

Diablosport Trinity T2 tuner and a Hemifever custom tune for less than $700. Hemifevertuning.com

I will be selling my Diablo T1000 in a couple weeks. I will post it here on forum. Your truck will work fine with it. 2015+ trucks require a PCM swap. We early Gen4 guys don’t have that problem.

Called a local shop in my area that a buddy of mine told me about. They quoted me:
$1400 for magnaflow exhaust/cat backs
$750 for a tuner that has a screen
$400 for a AFE cold air intake

It came to about $2700 installed and everything but i just thought that was a little to much and I for sure didn’t understand the $1400 magnaflow exhaust set up

You can look in the "For Sale" section and maybe find a used CAI or other performance mod's if you want to save a few bucks.

I had no idea there was a “for sale” section! Thanks for letting me know!
