Do the 1500s have an oil cooler thermostat?

I've added a 160* engine coolant thermostat and e-fan and now run 185* coolant all the time, but my engine oil temps have dropped off to 175* unless I get on the interstate where they'll hit 190 in the middle of a 90+* afternoon. That oil temp is way too cold, I want to see 215* on the oil with 185* on the water.

Anyone know if the 4th gen RAMs use a separate air to air engine oil cooler or do they just use the water exchange block on the filter adapter? If it's got an air to air, I'm going to add an in-line thermostat and see if I can have my cake and eat it too.

No oil to water filter adapter on my 14 Sport 4X4. Put a 180 thermostat back in it,the engine will still run at 185,but your oil temps will come back up if that's what you want.

Depending on the year they they have an oil cooler mounted to the oil filter adapter, but there’s no thermostat for it. So if you’re running a 160 thermostat that’s why your oil temps are that low. I would do as Wild one said. Put a 180 thermostat in.
