Please help.

i buy semi-metallic and never had noise problems. Only when I tried to go to something better "performance" pad. plus ceramic will wear the rotors faster. I rather spend $50 on a set of pads than $50 each for rotors

i never used the grease. Only place i used grease is on the guide pins to make sure they move and also make sure the pads float free wher they sit. I had pads rust in place and seize on my ranger I had.

I haven't messed with it yet, just relaying what I was told. The wagner on the front don't make any noise at all. I will probably end up changing the rears soon just because I want better pads

You need new rotors , the previous owner was a d-bag . at 30k you should have not had to turn your rotors . = they are fukked up beyond repair .

That all depends...most brake shops will turn them to "true" them reguardless of mileage...if they checked them for runout and found even a small bit of runout they would have turned them.

BUT...they should have turned a special surface deal on them too, that helps break in the pads...and to be totally honest, ceramic pads can be noisier than some pads, its just how they are.

Another deal, you know you CANNOT get rotors turned in my area? All the shops stopped doing it...Advance use to do it for $15 a rotor, but they stopped. The only ones that do it is places like Midas, and they have to be the one doing the whole brake job.
