Hello, just bought an 08 ram 2500 Long Horn. Want to level it out and put bigger rims and tires on it. But I don't want to mess up the transmission or the way it tows. Plan on eventually getting a toy hauler and don't wanna have to worry about how big I wanna go or how it handles. Also plan on buying a trailer to haul various things around with. It's all factory specs now. Originally wanted 20 inch rims and 33 12s. Now I'm kinda leaning toward 18s with 33s and maybe a narrower tire. Also heard good things about fox shocks and am considering replacing stock with those. New to all this and very excited about my truck but don't want to get carried away and mess anything up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Welcome to RamForum.

285/75R18 tires look good with a 2 or 2.5 inch level kit. A 285/75R18 equates to 34.5" tall tire that is 11.2" wide.

I ran that size on my 2007 MegaCab and towed a lot. No issues whatsoever. Here's that truck:
