Downshift

I just got a 22 ram 1500 5.7 limited. I notice that it feels like it’s skipping coming to a complete stop. I already took it to the dealer twice. The first the reset the computer and 2nd time they replace the valve body and driveshaft. The truck is still doing that hard downshifting/ feels skipping. Need a new transmission?

I have a 2022 2500 6.4 that has the same thing from downshifting to a stop going from 5th to 4th. Been to the dealer, first time put to sleep to relearn, no help, last week replaced throttle body, and still not fixed. We are at a loss to what is causing it. I have 17500 miles on truck.

Not sure, I like the truck, but don't like the clunk it makes when down shifting to a stop, and only when going from 5th to 4th.

I have noticed this too, not when stopping, but when slowing down and it will shift from 5th to 4th hard sometimes where I can feel it and hear it "clunk". 12k miles on a 2022 if that matters. non-etorque 5.7

I have the same issue but mine does it from 4th to 3rd on my 22 ram 2500 with the 6.4…with tow haul mode engage, it does not do it. I think it a software issue and not a hardware issue
