I have a 2018 ram bighorn with power drivers seat. The seat track has just been replaced but I’m still having some play in the seat back itself. The dealership I bought the truck from said replacing the seat track was all they could do. I refuse to believe that this is normal. Anyone else have this issue? And also the seat feels like it’s pushing me towards the center of the truck, almost like the seat is crooked.

Good Evening Matt, I have found that the lower seat frame where the seat cushion springs mount through the front of the frame is inadequate (metal not thick enough) to support the springs.
The metal is cracking and allowing the spring to sag or fall out of frame.
Take a flash light, stick your head under the front of seat, look up and forward for where the springs go through a slot in the frame. If its bad you will see a crack leading down from the slot.
As for the movement in the seat back, there should be no slop at all. Check motor and drive shafts for looseness and wear. Motor is located at the rear of the lower seat frame.
