So I put my Gen-Y drop hitch in today and my rear parking sensors did not like it at all! Anyone else have this issue???

What year truck? I have a 14” adjustable drop hitch on mine and it’s never seen them. But the 19+ have sensors in a different location. Since the hitch should only be installed when you’re towing anyway, might just be easier to disable the rear sensors when you’re towing so they don’t go bananas.

I have to turn off the rear sensors whenever I have a drawbar in the receiver.

i have a 10 in drop no problem with the sensors

I run with a 3.5" drop hitch in mine 100% of the time and it never sees it. It never sees my WD hitch either. Definitely sounds like a 19+ issue due to the different sensor locations.
FWIW, living in a state that sees a lot of snow...I'd almost rather not have the sensors. They are constantly froze up and deactivated during the winter.
