Son in Law rented another Ford, a 2019 Lariat 5.0 V8 4x4

I wouldn't trade my 11 Ram 4 By even up for it!

driving manners/shifting very sloppy, trans seems to be "hunting" sometimes
for the correct gear doesn't ride nearly as nice as my 11

My 545 trans in the 11 is much more predictable no thanks Ford
They can keep the 4x4 version JMO

I went to the Houston auto show Saturday, the F150's interior really needs to be updated. Also the door panels seemed cheap and thin plastic, when I thumped them they had a rattling sound. No way would I buy an F-150. I don't know why they are number one.

My favorite truck of the show was the 2020 Ram Midnight Limited

I'm really quite fond of my '18 with the A8 (?) transmission. I drove a friend's tuned Gen II Raptor, and while it was great on the boogie (WAY faster than my Ram) it felt... wonky in normal driving. I've not driven any other F150s with the 10 sp.

The 5.5 Sp in my '04 is... well it's garbage. I would like to manual swap it someday.
