Dual Zone Climate Controls

So the other day, I go to cut down the heat in the truck and noticed that I had a control option for the passenger side climate control appear. I was under the impression that my 2013 Big Horn did not have dual zone climate control. Well sure enough it was too good to be true I cut the truck off at the next stop and when I start it back up again the control is gone. So is there some sort of way to get that appear again? Or am I just stuck with being a witness of a glitch in the system.

It's a glitch. A couple of others have posted about it and I saw it the other day on mine.

I'm no engineer, but my guess is that it has to do with the fact that the software is the same in all of our trucks and the part of the programming that recognizes what hardware is there sometimes goes haywire and temporarily displays the controls for features we don't have.

Yeah I wroked for a software development company and thats makes sense, just comment out the options in the code you dont want the truck to have. It works but has glitches when the editors read the comments as code from time to time. I guess iam going to do a search to see who has gotten their hands on the source code and gave themselves all th options

I have the dual controls on my truck and there are controls in the head unit and there are buttons below the head unit. I can understand the software messing up from time to time, but I don't think it would work if you were able to activate it. There still has to be a separate mixing door in order to separate the two sides.....so you might be able to make it appear in the head unit, but I seriously doubt it would actually work. Just my thought on it.
