Releases the shift interlock when the battery is dead. AKA puts the transmission in neutral to get towed when the vehicle has no power to the electronic shift knob.

After you slip that strap off of the loop but
Before you pull that strap
There is a small release mechanism that has to be slid to the side
Then you can pull the strap & the vehicle is free to move

When you go to return to normal position of park
Move that slider device before putting that strap back in to place

Ok. Since I’m on a roll with dumb questions. Lol. How do I get the outlet in my bed to work. I presss the button on the lower dash by the parking brake. It just blinks and turns off
