Ok this is probably a couple of dumb questions but

1. Is the rear slider supposed to open all the way open or only 60% or so?

2. What is the weird double ball thing that doesn't seem to serve a purpose near the front of the truck ( see pic )?

Tx in advance.

If you are talking about the rear sliding glass? I'm pretty sure it's supposed to open 100%or close to it and that this is a vibration absorber for when you are driving down the road it doesent resonate into the cab and rattle your brain

The rear slider should open all the way. From the exterior of the truck you shouldn't see any part of the moving window. As far as the weird ball thing... I was looking under the truck wondering the same thing the other day... i have no idea. Guessing some sort of... no clue

Ok the sliding rear window thing - I kinda thought that was the case. Any idea on how to fix it or how expensive it might be? I have a full warranty on the truck for another 60k but it has a $100 deductible and I wouldn't want to bring it in for something that could easily be fixed at home. Please advise.

So tell me what it does... if you can post a video that would be even better. Does it feel like a stuck window? Or does the motor itself stop? What I'm trying to say is does it feel like it was programmed to stop at that point or do you think it's getting stuck?

So I just went out there and took a quick peek and figured out the numb nuts who tinted my windows apparently put the drivers side rear seat head rest in backwards lol - window was get stopped by it because it was tight to the glass. I swear. I only let people work on my vehicles when its beyond me. I've never had luck doing tint myself so that's one of the rare times. Mechanically and/or electrically I do almost anything and everything myself. This is why. Stupid ****.

With electrical I always start as cheap as possible. Try unplugging the electrical connector, lubing it up with dielectric grease and plugging it back in. If that doesn't do it then you can dig deeper.
My pass front window stopped going down when my wife tried to use her switch, this was all it took to get it working again.

*Scratch that, just saw your headrest post lol, i'm glad it was an easy fix*
