Ok guys I posted a thread the other day about opinions of BfG Ko2... I cannot decide between the Ko2 or Goodyear duratrac. What's your guys opinion? It's strictly for everyday driver. No towing or hauling just normal driving. I don't want a loud tire, I'm going for looks. What's your alls thoughts...

I have had duratracs on my 1500 for a year. They are great all conditions and wear very well. My friend has a 2500 with AT2s after 2 years they are spanked.

I liked my duratracs, great grip on the road, great in snow and mud. But I like the looks of the Ko2s better

The duratracs are good. The ko2's are good in snow but suck in grass/mud. And the toyo r/t's look good but don't know anyone that had them for a say on how they do.

I look at both and purchased the KO2's. My co-worker has the Duratracs and hates them on his 2013 Silverado. They have less than 10k miles on them... I had all the tires mentioned above and they all work OK, but the new BFGs work well, look great and are very quiet.

I've been slowly researching over the past few months.. I am still some time out before buying but everything leads me back to the K02s.

I have a set of studded Duratracs on my 07 Megacab 3500. They are a good tire in deep snow and hard pack.

I have a set of KO2 on my 12 qcsb 1500 they are good on the hard pack but not as good in the deep snow.

IMO the KO2 drive a little better and are for sure more quite.

I'm running the KO2 on my 1500 and I to had the great debate over the duratrecks or the KO2's. They both provide long wear as long as you maintain them. I've had the dura's but find the KO2 a much quieter tire. Also having the sever snow rating helps as my insurance company gives me a discount for running them in the winter

Ok what are the Ko2s rated for mileage wise? I can't seem to find that anywhere

KO2 is quieter - I drove both on same truck.
I got a killer deal trading in my SRA's for another Goodyear tire so I went Duratrac. so far they are great. no complaints.
As for looks? That's all preference but Duratracs look better IMO.

Duratracs are unreal in snow trust me I put them to the test I got over 10ft of snow last year. I can't speak for ko2 cuz I've never use em.
