I'm in the process of refreshing a stale '15 black Laramie and am now researching the 'lighting' side of this project. Been reviewing a handful of dynamic lighting options covering headlights, grill/hood lights, marker lights and running board lights, DRLs, etc... There are some pretty cool start up animations and sequential directionals built into the LEDs of 2025; the graceful smoothness and fluidity of the animations have come along way and are now buttery smooth. But man, some of the pricing requires time to digest....

Looking to go in the following direction:
Projector Style headlight with HID low beam (or room to use an HID/Resistor setup here)
AMBER DRL / directional
Bitchn startup sequence

EXAMPLE: Morimoto XB LED Headlights with Amber DRL

Integration of an LED hood light strips to compliment or enhance the startup sequence.

Integration of a fog light setup that may also double as AMBER DRLs.
Integration of auto hide running board equipped w LEDs. (example Amp Powerstep Vision). Bonus if can be integrated with startup sequence.

Possibly considering integration of a rear tailgate light strip like the Putco Freedom blade, as it has some neat startup sequences. But REALY interested in the "night rider" animation. HOWEVER, considering installing it up front, between hood and grill, for the Kit affect, and ditch the brake light functionality.

Curious if any Ram owners have stepped down these rabbit holes and what setups you've come up with. Looking for inspirational suggestions!

I'd start with anything other than a 15 model year. Most difficult year I've ever dealt with for any type of lighting upgrades. I wish you lots of luck and I hope it works out for you
