Easiest way to get "white" headlights?

In the winter I drive a dark country highway to work so I needed brighter lights. I honestly can't be bothered mucking around with HiD's, LED's etc so if all I have to do is drop $75 once/year on those fast burning bulbs I'm fine with that.

35 watt HIDs with 43/4500k bulbs will probably get you the light and color you are looking for.

LEDs are the next best runner up. They tend to be bluer in color and not quite as bright.
