I have a 2018 Laramie 2500, 1st the other day I let my son drive it to pickup some wood. After he left i went out to drive it an noticed the drivers seat hadn't gone back for the easy access. Started the truck to see if it would move, nothing so I locked it up and used the remote to unlock still didn't move. Went into the U connect and the easy access is checked on the display. I know he did adjust the seat to drive it. Any body else had this problem. 2nd does anybody have the problem of when someone is in the passenger seat and isn't buckled there is no light or warning sound. I did notice in the owners manual it says if your vehicle is equipped with outboard front passenger seat Belt Alert. I would think on a model such as the Laramie that would be standard. has anyone else had this?

In some cases when the seat is adjusted it takes the easy exit seat a few cycles to start working again. Kind of annoying but I've noticed that happens once in a while. As far as your passenger seat goes if there is somebody in it it should have a warning chime that goes off after a while if they don't connect their seatbelt once you start moving. That being said the person has to be heavy enough to activate the seat sensor so the truck recognizes there is someone in the seat. It takes it a little while before it notifies you to give people time to put their seat belts on. Mine usually goes after I've been driving for 10 or so seconds with somebody in the passenger seat and they don't buckle it.
