eco mode

I have a 2014 Longhorn CC with 5.7 and 8 speed/3.92 do I have an ECO mode? I have searched the settings and controls and can'
t find it.

You don't have a "ECO" mode you can turn off or turn on.
If you drive normally and keep the pedal under 20% of fully being pressed, your Eco light will come on.
It will only come on when you are driving economically and your mds will be activated on light loads as well.
The only way to take it off if by a programmer or by pushing the gear shift selecror and having it on any gear.
It will not go on mds mode with the gears being manually selected.

Are you just looking for the light to come on? I had to go into settings to find the light on my 14 longhorn. I can't remember where I found it though! My advice would be to check again but to go into every menu! Or call the dealer, that's what I did and they knew where it was lol

Have you looked on the settings screen on your radio? That's where my option to turn Eco display off and on are. The eco display does not tie directly into MDS, it just means you are driving "light footed".

Congratulations on the 3.92/8!

If you were a lunkhead like me, you bought the truck on the lot that had most of the options you wanted, and didn't think about final gears. Did you get 3.92s/8 on purpose, or did you just get lucky? Either way, you got the only factory combo worth having. Well done.

All the rest of us have to spend a bunch of money to get optimum performance.

Oh, and yes, you have an ECO mode. It's marketing BS. I find it annoying when it shows up on the dash. Because it's BS......

You can turn it on or off in the radio. It's in the settings some where. I had it go and turn mine on. I like having it because I do try to squeeze every mpg I can get.
