2014 ram 2500 xm issue

I could not find if previously discussed. My factory Uconnect radio with 8” touch screen displays an xm antena error message when in xm mode. The xm radio plays as normal but the error message blocks me from using the controls to change channels, see whats playing, etc. the steering wheel controls work fine. I ran onboard diagnostic and it says antena short. Ive replaced the antena, did a Uconnect software update and did a complete Uconnect reset but the message is still there. On startup it disappeared. But as soon as I put it in gear or change channels on the touch screen, it comes back. Any suggestions?

Did you disconnect the battery, then try things **** turn in lights to full discharge any capacitors. Leave disconnected for a bit, then reconnect and do a couple start/run/turn off cycles of about 30 minutes each. Any repairs you did may need this reset to fully integrate.
