I put the 10in Edelbrock air cleaner on and wasn't sure about the hose that hooks to the bottom. I put a standalone filter on then realized I had that port on the bottom of the cleaner. Should I take the standalone filter off and hook it to the cleaner or what?

I have the same air cleaner I think. I took the original hole and ground down a small peice of pipe to firmly fit in the whole then used industrial adhesive in order to keep it there. ( the hose being cut short force it up anyway) and then put the cut original tube on to the pipe. If I could take mine off( some idiot glued it on) I would drill the hole to a small pipe size that I had around and then flanged the top of the pipe and put it in through the top of the original hole that I made larger to just bearly fit the pipe. And also would glue the top of it in there but make sure to have the tube attached before you glue it cuz u could break the glue loose if you did not. Hope this helps. Pm me if you need more info or help
