You'd have to leave the factory fan shroud in place or figure out something to do with the washer fluid and overflow jugs. It seems like it would be easier for us to do it with a universal electric fan though

Edit: there's a company that made a dual fan setup for us 2nd genners that had mounting places for the jugs but I can't find the link for it

You can do it to any vehicle, the tricky part is finding a proper shroud or making your own that can hold the fans and jugs or relocate the jugs completely. I'll see what I can dig up for you on this as I know a long time ago on my old forum a bunch of people did this going various routes.

And yes, mileage can go up and so can performance, slightly, as they is less stress on the motor

I'm sending you a pm with the results of my search.

Does removing the fan void any warranty?

they'd have to prove it......

They didn't say a word when I had mine in for work a few weeks ago.

Ok. I'm just nervous about the dealership being a bunch of gypos. I've never had a vehicle that had a warranty so I could do whatever the heck I wanted.

They didn't say anything to me about it and I had them remove the clutch fan for me and I told them what I was doing, never said anything against it. And as long as you throw in a 180 stat you'll be fine also from overheating since you don't have a.tuner.

so just got done doing this mod, Other than my fan coming with a broken mount, it was a piece of cake. I was ready to have to use all my might removing the clutch fan but it just came right off with out much force. One issue im having though is i set the fan to come on at 185 and 195 but the fan doesnt actually turn on till 199. Kinda strange not sure if it has a fualty temp sensor or what. I also replaced the 203 therm with a 180.

Mine did as well. JJ filed a claim for me, Fed-Ex picked it up, and JJ got me another as soon as he got more in stock after the group buy.
