Just as an update, I am still on point with averaging 1.5 mpg increase since installing this. Now again take this for what it's worth as there is no scientific backing that I have. Just carefully monitoring day to day activities and several times having other drive it also. For me I would definitely add this to another truck as long as that was the " look " that I was going for. This isn't for everyone and just like all of our trucks, everyone has their thoughts on what looks good.

Hope to hear from others who have this or similar ones installed, and see/ read their thoughts.

I dont see it adding a 1.5 mpg.....From what i was reading of it its a glorified Styrofoam type material....Dont see it holdin up very well in a semi harsh climate..

Saw this thing on a youtube vid about a yr ago and almost bought one for mine but glad i waited..
With aerodynamics my thought (without any scientific proof)i can see it causing a hint of drag..

Mines is sitting here. Haven't installed it yet cause I'm waiting for my led replacement cargo light. This is not styrofoam. More like a very hard plastic. Very sturdy imo

. No worries as to what you " see " as nothing else changed when this was installed. I'm not expecting anyone to buy this because I have it on MY truck. My thoughts are simple, it's on my truck and it's making me happy.

Don't feel too bad man, the shark fins are garbage. They look nice, but the reception sucks. I lose my satellite reception whenever I am near taller buildings, and the buildings don't even have to be all that big, just a few stories high, and somewhat close together and it cuts out.

I used to have the "budget" antenna when I had my 2013 Charger, never lost reception except when I had something overhead completely blocking out the antenna like a parking garage. I've had a shark fin on my 2015 Charger, and now on my 2016 RAM and I hate the shark fins. I mean seriously, I go through the drive-thru at Wendy's that has a slight awning, and bam, out goes the reception.
