Electrical Issues After Battery Swap - 2005 Ram 1500 5.7L

2005 Ram 1500 5.7L Crew 2WD

I recently borrowed the battery from my Ram and used it in another vehicle for the weekend. When I swapped it back, the interior lights and gauges started flashing, and the starter solenoid would just buzz, even when I tried jumping it.

After fiddling with the ground enough, I finally got it to start. I took it home, disassembled the ground terminal, cleaned the connections, and installed a new terminal. After a few adjustments, it started up but died after about a minute, with no electrical power at all. I hooked up my charger, and the electrical came back.

I'm stumped... Any ideas?

test the voltage at the battery. if you hook a charger up and you get power, either the battery is too low, dead, or connections. since you checked the connections, hate to say could be a bad battery at this point. If you can jump it with the charger and it runs long enough, see what the power is coming from the alternator

I thought it was the ground, may clean the connections on the frame and fender tonight and try that. I may take a battery off another vehicle and try that also. Very odd..... It is like it is not getting a good connection through the terminals.

Charged the battery again and the dash and interior light is flashing and the wipers are running also
