I just had a windshield replaced and all warning lights came on. Took it to the dealership and they said the sensors hadn't been reset properly. They reset "properly" and the next day the center navigation/radio screen shut down and the instrument cluster shut down while driving. The front windows wouldn't roll down. The AC powered off...but the heater defroster came on and refused to turn off. Then the instrument cluster popped on with several different messages one after another (lane sense, park assist, blind spot monitor, etc). The back windows were operational. I live in the South. It's too hot to be cooked by the heater at this time of year. Retractable running board is also intermittent now.
Then everything came back as normal, then went off and came on and went off and came on...
Killing the engine and restarting resets everything for a few minutes and then it starts all over. Battery is not quite 2 years old and shows good charge.
Code reader shows no codes. It did show "Emissions -No" though didn't give a reason why.
Any ideas other than a poltergeist?
It will be returning to the dealership, but I was hopeful for insight from someone who's "been there done that".

Did you try unhooking the battery for a bit and then hooking it back up? It will take awhile for things to all come back. Some times a few start/stop cycles.

It still could be the battery as a low battery causes weird stuff to happen. Have the dealership test it BTW.

Yeah the battery got unhooked twice. Didn't help. It was worth a shot!

Can’t help with your poltergeist but I’ve seen several say they’ve had issues after windshield replacement. I’ve had two replacement windshields in my 2022 (f’n road construction everywhere). I use an independent glass guy. He tells me to keep the FOB at least 10’ away from the truck until he’s finished. He says the FOB in close proximity to the truck is what causes the malfunctioning sensors after install. Don’t know if he’s right but….two new windshields and everything works perfectly afterwards.

That's interesting. I went to an independent for the windshield. It took 3 trips, 2 windshields and over a month for him to even get the rain sensing wipers to work properly. Told me I didn't have them and made me show him the display where I had them turned on as if I wouldn't know after 5 years of owning the truck whether I had rain sensing wipers or not. Charged me to "recalibrate", but after he finally got the rain sensing to work I just took it to the dealership and had them recalibrate. I have no idea if they had the fob in proximity or not, but that's definitely an interesting tidbit for me to hold on to for the future. Thanks!

Load test the battery with a toaster-style battery load tester, the digital versions often don't catch a flakey cell.

You can buy one from HarbourFreight for $20.

The average lifespan of a battery in a hot region is 2 to 3 years and failing sooner or from new is not that irregular.

Poltergeist found.
The dealership said the electronics issue is due to a faulty tail light lens that allowed moisture to get inside. Oddly, when I asked them about the condensation in the tail light while the truck was still under warranty I was assured that "sometimes that happens" and "it's really no big deal". Now it's a $2k fix because the moisture has corroded a sensor back there and it all has to be replaced in order to correct the electrical issues.
That's what he said.
We shall see.
Will post again to let you guys know if the fix fixes it.
One brighter note the windshield issue and initial problems with the sensors seem to be coincidental.

Too bad you don't have a work order with the condensation being dismissed as no big deal.

Thanks for the update. Please keep us posted on the repairs.
