on my 2016 I could turn the engine brake on and it would stay on after each start up, now my 2018 I have to turn it back on everytime I restart the truck. is there a way to make it stay on like my 2016 did?

I assume that you went from a 2004 4.7L gasser to a 2016 6.7L CTD and now to a 2018 6.7L CTD?
Mine stays on all the time (2017) if I put it in "Full" vs. "Auto".
