Engine Overheat Warning

Have any of you ever experienced this? 2015 Ram 1500 Sport 5.7L, 39K miles. I was accelerating off of a stop and for a split second the engine too hot watching came on. Then I went I freeway and no issues.

Could be a problem with oil (or compression but doubt it) possibly a fatal water pump or bad coolant mixture. Those would be my first checks.
