Could anyone tell me the compatibility of the newer 6.4s? My 2014 2500 just lost oil pressure and need to replace. Dealer says metal shavings in oil pan. There’s a ton of new engines out there with little to no miles on them. Just wondering what issues I would face if I grabbed a 2021 or 22 6.4 and went that route.

Call your local salvage operation. They have an interchange guide. I've done that many times with great success.
