Engine swaps and compatibility questions

Hello everyone my name is Jesse, I recently aquired a 03 single cab, short bed, ram with a 6cylinder and a manual trans. The engine is shot and im gonna pull it! I was wondering how hard a V8 swap is and what I will need. Will the trans bolt up and so on! I'm really not going to use the truck hard because I already have a work truck but I'd like to have a nice daily driver for as cheap as possible! Any help would be great thanks in advance

Very difficult. The easiest swap would be a 4.7 swap since it's the same engine family.
