Half way through learning the buttons on my new 2025 1500. (Picked it up Sunday) Maybe. I don't know. The touch screen has page after page of settings.
Anyway, my point:
Ram has put in buttons for everything under the sun, but they can't throw a server on the spare tire winch? Or even a light to illuminate the target for the rods?
Come on, guys.

Wait until you get a flat on a front tire. Getting that factory jack under the front end is a bear.

Yup. Right inside the floor cubby storage.

I keep mine in a rubber-made container in the box with tools, ropes and webbing straps etc.
The Roll-N-Lock cover is locked to prevent it from disappearing, but living in the country, there's little to no risk.

Is there sufficient room in the storage cubby to keep the bottle jack upright?
I bought a 12-ton jack due to its features and price point. I'm not sure if it will fit in the storage area without storing it sideways, but I like your idea and will check it out.

I sliced a sidewall on an errant piece of sheet metal pulling into the alley. Came out to a flat in the driveway. Getting any kind of jack far enough under it to lift if high enough to get the wheel off almost took a Physics degree. I keep two floor jacks in the garage and between them and the humidity, I contemplated just selling the truck as-is and buying a new one instead of fighting that flat tire.
I do love that truck though...

I prefer these over a bottle jack,my bottle jacks have never been used since i got a couple of these, all they do is sit in my storage shed gathering dust now. This one even comes with a cordless impact

If only it took a Milwaukee battery. Since I already carry 4 batts anyways for the impact gun , inverter, and compressor. A Milwaukee powered jack would be a nice addition to my lazy man collection. For now the HF bottle bailed me out twice. Two seperate times when the inner rear dual valve stem started to leak the jack saved me. I really don't even know what the stock jack looks like. All I know is its under the passenger seat.

Amazon dot ca sucks. Most of the electric jacks have a max height of 17.7" .

Do they think our trucks are shorter in Canadastan or WTF?

The comparable kit I found with more lift is only $364.

I love the idea, Rick but that's too rich for my budget. I changed 1 flat on the Tundra in 14 years with over 150K miles.

I know you used your jack more during 1 day at the races.

I'll keep this electric jack idea until my lottery tickets hit the jackpot.

I found the same kit at dot ca and it's only $241. Not bad considering it's $110 at Amazon dot com.

That's interesting.

I will experiment with that on my PC tomorrow because my stupid phone will not permit that to happen.

COOL!

I copied the dot com url to a notepad app and changed it to dot ca.

Thanks for the tip.

First thing I put in the passenger side Ram Box was a two ton hydraulic jack.
Next weekend I'm going to look at what it would take to make a one piece rod to fish through to the winch receiver that I can throw a cordless drill on.
Does anyone make those?

Just how often do you think you'll have a flat tire.I don't remember the last time i changed a flat on the side of the road.If you can swing the payments on a new truck, you should be able to afford to keep good tires under it.Buy yourself a tire plug kit and 12 volt compressor,if you plan on having tire issues, most times you can plug a tire on the side of the road and use a 12 volt compressor to pump it up.
I have one of these kits in each of my vehicles.

You won't believe this but...
564 miles on my new Ram, driving home from work TODAY and a piece of something metal came flying across the two lanes to my right and I now need a new Pirelli Scorpion 285 45 R22.
And it WAS the front tire.
Son of a *****.
Should never have brought the subject up.
