Hello everyone,
I just traded in my 2012 5.0 Mustang for a Ram Express.
I only had the Mustang for a little under two years. It was the first Ford I've ever owned. It also has the distinction of being the last Ford I will ever own. It was really fast and loud but an absolute piece of crap, from the worst manual transmission I've ever used to dash panels popping off when it got hot outside. Junk.
I am not traditionally a truck guy even though I have often needed one. When I saw this truck on the lot it was love at first sight. 1000 miles later I'm even more attached. Ram makes a superb product! The Ram Express is an outrageous deal! With the 5.7, power doors/windows/keyless package, carpet and the optional 20in chrome wheels, 20k is an incredible value. 20k is Honda Fit money!
I am also thrilled with the stock base sound system. I would like to swap out the rear speakers though. They barely put out any sound. Idk, may maybe something wrong with them. Either way the front speakers really sound great in such a small space.
I don't expect to be doing a lot of modding, there isn't much that needs to be enhanced. The day after I bought it I tinted the windows, debadged it and had a flowmaster installed. I will probably only do some basic stuff like a CAI. Weathertech floors, retractable bed cover, etc.
I love this truck!
