I have an 08 with a 5.7. When I bought the truck it already had a flow master with dual out on it and no resonators. That of course had rotted away a while ago. I recently put a dual out glass pack on it and the drone has got on my last nerve. What can I do to keep the exhaust note sounding good and get rid of the drone?

you can try changing out the glass packs or adding a small muffler or resonator

What diameter piping did they use in and out. We can get you set up with a Borla muffler or Magnaflow muffler that should do much better for you than the glasspack

Yes it could. I would need to know what length resonator you could fit and also how much space you have for diameter of resonator, especially since it sounds like was custom made.

The muffler is right in front of the rear. Pipes come out a couple inches and go over the axle. So I have from the Y pipe to almost the rear of 3” straight pipe.
