I picked up a electric blue '06 ram 2500 with a hemi. im looking for a meaner sound, with minimal drone. Can i get what im looking for from a muffler? I cant do any major operations, because i need my truck for work. i pull around 72 hours a week so i dont have alot of wrench time either.

I'd say a 18-24" Magnaflow is in your future.

No problem, full systems are not numerous for the 2500 hemi. I like the stainless for the rust factor. Amazon had it the cheapest I could find it. Imo, this system is the best bang for your buck. It gives the hemi the growl it really needs. I pull a 25' TT with mine and you get that echo in the canyon effect going up hills. Lol

I'm a fan of how the Flowmaster sounds on the early Hemi's.

I don't know if you've made a decision yet, but I just had a MagnaFlow single in/single out muffler installed on my '08 Hemi. I went with the 22" long body on mine because I wanted it as quiet as possible. It sounds great, quiet in the cab, quiet at an idle and cruising speeds, and has a real deep mean sound when you get on it. I had the CAI and TBS put on at the same time so I don't know how those affected it. It doesn't sound like a loud truck, but more like a true powerful engine.

I agree with the Flowmaster 40's.

After about 500 miles with it on the sound will get even deeper and a little more throaty.

It's a wonderful exhaust to put on.
