i purchased a 2021 limited 1500 4 WD night edition etorque in May. i didn’t purchase the extended warranty at the time. i got a fantastic deal plus 0% for 6 years, so I decided to think about it. Now with 2500 miles, i absolutely love the truck. With all the technology and a desire to own long term i now am convinced that an extended warranty is the prudent thing to do. what warranty makes the most sense for me? i will drive about 6000 miles per year. my 2011 LTZ had 64,000 miles on it when i sold it and had zero issues with it , it was definitely a low tech truck compared to new Ram . It still had original tires. I think Chrysler Capital offers the same 0% on warranty purchase also. I’m anxious to hear from those that have knowledge on this subject. thanks in advance .

I had the Lifetime Maxcare Extended Warranty on my 2009 Ram
I sold it in 2016
I used it a few times & if i had kept it another 3 years, i would have used it more, i sold that truck with over 143,000 miles

Now i have a 2016 Ram & i bought the extended warranty, i have not used it much, due to illness, i only have 60,500 miles on it
They don't have Lifetime warranties anymore, i think 7 years is the limit
So currently i have the maximum amount Mopar Extended Maxcare Warranty

If i buy another Ram in 2023 or 24, i will again get the longest duration Mopar Maxcare Extended Warranty

The only thing that i will do different is, i am going to comparison shop
The dealerships price, against the Ziegler price
Mopar Maxcare Extended Warranty, whatever the longest duration is

I should mention that some dealerships may attempt to sell you a warranty that is different from the OEM Mopar Plan
The Mopar plan covers your vehicle at any authorized dealership or authorized repair facility in the USA, Canada, & Mexico

The plan that they may try to sell you, may only cover work done at that particular facility, or particular State or maybe a tri state area.
So you would never be covered on the opposite coast, etc.

I have the Lifetime Mopar plan on my wife's Jeep Cherokee 2016. Won't leave home without it! My 2019 Ram 2500 has the 8 year 60K Bumper to Bumper plan. Less than 1200 american dollars when the truck was less than a year old, and less than 12K on the odometer.

Ziegler has generally been the go-to low cost option. They are a dealer that sells Mopar service contracts in volume and it's the real Mopar warranty. On their website use payinfull as a discount code to get their bottom line price.

They are hard to beat on price.

Do any of you know of a volume place like Zeigler that those of us in Canada can buy from. The 7 year 60,000 miles Mopar warranty is $2,895 up here, so even factoring in exchange, a lot more than the U.S. price..

I bought my 2020 2500 6.4 in Sept 2020. The 7year/75K bumper to bumper was 2975 plus tax from the dealer. I waited until I received a Black Friday special deal from Mopar and bought the same warranty for 1875 with no tax. I hope I wasted my money

I got a Maxcare thru Ziegler, 8 years, 85K, but remember:
1) Get before yer 3 year runs out
2) Here is the Caveat: The 8n year is actually just an added 5 years because they go back to the Date U took the vehicle (neat huh)
3) With "coupon", $1,725.00.. if paid all at one time.

Which specific one did you buy casue the ones I was being quoted there was no mention of oil changes, what year did you buy it, was it for the 2021 so it is in the first 12 months and what did it cost. Thanks.

Just traded my '17 on a '21. I had the 8 Year warranty and never used it. I'm supposed to get $1,500 back on it. When that arrives I'll look Zeigler up again..

My Maxcare for my 1500 8 year, 85K was $1,725 US. Nothing there ref oil changes. But of course, the 8 year, is actually only a 5 year since it starts the day U took possession of truck, 8 years from that date. Since I bought at end of 3 year Bumper +, just 5, LOL. Nice lil gig there, but warranty better for peace of mind, and a lot cheaper than one major trip to dealer.
